Is Las Vegas in the cards?

It isn’t looking like I’m going to make in Las Vegas for BlogWorld/Postiecon, my friends. US Air has stolen my frequent flier miles despite following their exact instructions, and now I have a major scheduling conflict. Looks like I’m going to miss all the fun.
My wife is convinced I want to move to Las Vegas because I like to play poker, despite the fact that I haven’t played live in over 2 years, and only play online once or twice a month. I hear it’s a nice place to live, as well as visit, and is growing phenomenally. I’ve also heard that this is a good time to check into Las Vegas real estate, given the state of the housing market. Plus, with the Fed dropping interest rates, this is probably a good time to be buying. It’s too bad I don’t live there, because that would at least solve the airfare problem.
