The man behind the curtain is making progress

In two tests, I started removing plugins and checking to see if I had the error. I deactivated the following plugins with no effect:

Google Sitemaps XML

Blogroll Autolinker

Then, I removed “If You Liked That”, the theory begin that this makes use of the categories, and what little i understood of my error it appeared to be category-related. The error went away.

The next test will be adding plugins back in and seeing which ones “break” the theme. I suspect Sitemaps will be an issue from what I hear from others, which isn’t really a problem since robots read Wordpress blogs very well anyway.

I just upgraded my main blog this weekend, and Google Sitemaps was the plugin that broke it. I decided not to keep using it rather than upgrade. I’m not sure it helped me in the Google dance.

You and me both.

Yep had the same problem as you two but I think you need to try and keep in with Google on a basic level at least, even if you don’t want to.
