Traffic from spammers?

Thanks you for visiting. Please consider subscribing to the RSS feed.

I noticed last month some odd incoming traffic, but I don’t understand it. Obviously, it is spam of some sort, but this is new to me so I’m throwing it out there to see if greater minds can enlighten me.

There’s probably a half-dozen more just these, and I’m actually getting about a dozen or so hits from them every few weeks. Is there anyone out there that can tell me why this would be so?

I’ve been trying to discover this exact same thing. In the past couple of weeks I’ve had multiple hits from tvsetmp3.com.

BTW you might want to de-link the tvsetmp3 link because it leads to a page containing a Trojan. That’s another reason why I can’t figure out how I’m getting hits from this site.

A friend did suggest to me that it’s quite possible the ip for tvsetmp3 site is being used through a proxy service, but I don’t know if the actual website name could show up if that’s the case.

I’ve also gotten a few hits from wasowo.com/map.html, but it’s no where near as many as I’m getting from the tvsetmp3 site.

Thanks Jenn. I nofollowed the links, but didn’t think about the possibility of a Trojan.
